The most beautiful colorful bedrooms spotted at The Socialite Family

Using colors to offer oneself gentle awakenings or, on the contrary, full of enthusiasm and energy, is possible. Whether used sparingly or in abundance, it's just a matter of trying and having fun. To set you on the right track and encourage you to dive in, we have selected some ideas from our collections and the families we have encountered.

How to choose the color of your bedroom?

Colors have as many meanings and symbolisms as they are energies in their own right. They can quickly change the atmosphere of a room. That's why it's always interesting to consider the brightness (natural and artificial) and the size of the space where you want to add color. If the space is dark or small, it may be good to opt for light shades without them being too bright. Because indeed, choosing a color for a bedroom is about infusing cheerfulness without keeping one awake, literally. Blue is renowned for being a calming color that promotes falling asleep. The same goes for green and its shades. Powder pink combined with orange or yellow will be both soft and stimulating.

Where to put colors in your bedroom?

From floor to ceiling, through a wall or just a few accessories, color can be dared everywhere and in every way. It can be adopted in plain paint, in shades, or through wallpaper patterns. Color can be used to structure the space if the bathroom, the dressing room, or a vanity also make up the bedroom. It can give the illusion of a more spacious room than it appears or allow for the design of a headboard, for example.

Color on the walls

Powder pink at Sophie and Baligh Ferjani's. Purple and mauve at Mike Klar and Kevin Kurz's. Pink and yellow at Tiphaine Verdier's. Or a range of yellows at Hélène Rebelo and Edouard Beauget's. And colorful stripes in wallpaper at Lisa Gachet and Kevin Variengien's... Color goes on one or more walls.

Color in the sheets

At The Socialite Family, we like to compose beds like a canvas to which we add texture, color, and volume. This involves both the accumulation of cushions with different patterns and the layering of Como sheets, Capriccio duvet, or Monastica throw in tone-on-tone or striped, or both. This is the case at Marvin and Inès Angelini's Como or at Julien Sebbag's or Catherine Servel and Matthew Mitchell's.

Color in accessories

As at Jeanne Labib-Lamour and Paolo Sarno's or at Colombe Camana's, it is possible to rely on certain furniture or accessories to add color to your bedroom. The addition of color can be subtle and discreet. A Gioia lamp with a pink, yellow, or green base may be enough to brighten a room. Just like a green Laura chair in the corner, ready to welcome your clothes, or Adagio or Teatro curtains that will decorate as much as they will filter your space.
